Fellow Hibernians,
A great time was had last by all Saturday. The boys competed for huge prizes on our annual President’s day outing at 3 Putt-Nam County Golf Club. With all of that money on the line the fellas put up some impressive scores, along with other feats of strength and silliness.
The Winners:
Omar Zabian 40 points, $500 and a bag of golf goodies
Conor McDonough 38 points, $300
Mike Donovan 38 points, $200
Tommie Williams 38 points, $100
Closest to the pin:
Fifth hole Tommie Williams, $100
Seventh hole Pascal Doran, $100
Twelfth hole Martin King, $100
Fifteenth hole Liam Moylan, $100
Longest Drive:
Troy Sullivan $100
Low Gross:
Ted Steede 75, golf balls
There was a minor mix-up surrounding the Stapleford points allotted to our winner Zabian, as his cart mate had some difficulty with math. It took some time, but the controversy was cleared up once Billy Mulhall was finally convinced that 37 plus 3 is, in fact, 40, In fairness to Billy, he had run out of fingers and toes.
Here is a shot of our President, the winner of the President’s day grand prize, and his accountant.

We have reached another Hibernian milestone as original member and Stamford golf legend John Fahey turned 75 last week.

Happy Birthday Fairways!!
See you all next Sunday the 28th, Fairchild Wheeler, where we will play the Semi Finals of the Doubles competition, along with the usual nonsense.
